I received a phone call from Karen this morning letting me know that Steve R, the "Old Hippy" from the Owensboro KY chapter, is back in the hospital with pneumonia in both lungs.

He seems to be doing better this morning. Since several of the local members are meeting at Texas Roadhouse tomorrow at noon for lunch, I figured I would stop by the hospital after our lunch, so if anyone would like to go along, please contact me or meet me at Texas Roadhouse.

I am happy to announce that Steve is OUT of the hospital and back home.

The *censormode*tail they gave him for his double pneumonia worked wonders and he is breathing much easier.

I spent about an hour with him on Sat and he was breathing on his own and did not need his oxygen at all during that time. However, I also found out he had a cracked rib that he received the previous weekend while he was with us at the Kentuckiana Motorcycle Showdown and that is still causing him some pain.

Hopefully, he will be at the meeting next Wednesday night.
