On Sunday, Jan 31st. members from Owensboro Kentucky, Rockport Indiana and Evansville, Indiana will be attending the Kentuckiana Motorcycle Showdown in Evansville, Indiana at "The Centre" Exhibit Hall.

At this time, we are not sure what time we will be leaving Owensboro, but will discuss it at our regular Wednesday night meeting at Rocca Bar.

Depending on temps and weather conditions, we are not sure if members will be riding or using their cages, but we will update you as we get closer to the weekend.

Any other bikers from the towns mentioned above that would like to join us, please contact me or show up at our Wed night meeting.

Anyone that is not snowed in on Sunday is invited to meet us at the Rural King parking lot Sunday at 12:00 noon. We can car pool over to Evansville.

If there is anyone that has a 4 wheel drive, let us know, just in case someone is snowed in and can not get out of their driveway.

Anyone that received their Frosty Buns Run t-shirt last Wednesday, might want to wear them Sunday to advertise the fact we rode our bikes New Year's Day.

I don't know how the roads will be Sunday, but some of us still plan on attending the Kentuckiana Showdown.

I was finally able to get my van out of the driveway in order to check out the county roads and right now, they are passable.

Don't know how bad they will be in the morning with 5 degree temps, but I figure by noon, they should be ok, so unless something unforeseen happens, I will be at Rural King in Ownesboro by noon (inthe van).

Well, Tina & I sent Rob and Jason off to the showdown by themselves. From what I can tell the roller derby girls are the olny thing that seemed to slow them down (not the snow). In the picture I was sent on my phone I didn't see any motorcycles. This may save you guys a trip to Show Me's.

Freebird, do you mean to tell me you girls trusted Rob and Jason all alone?

And where please tell me where the Roller Derby girls are so I can avoid them, because if they have to wear elbow pads, knee pads and a helmet when they play, I think I will wait for the more gentle playmates.

It looks like the fog has lifted and the temps have warmed up substantially from the 1 degree I saw first thing this morning, so I am about ready to head for Owensboro. We have room in the van for at least 3 or 4 more people if they want to ride with us.

If you have not been to the Kentuckiana Showdown before, you might want to take your camera along.

Oh yeah - Frank, you will be alright with the roller derby girls, all of the padding is to protect them from getting hurt, you guys will be fine, they won't hurt ya to bad.
