2016 National Club Meeting

Myrtle Beach Bike Week will be the location of the OBRC 2016 National meeting.


The date will be from Sunday May 15th to Sunday May 22nd.


One of our officers from the Northern Mass chapter of OBRC has offered to let members camp at his place about 25 miles west of Myrtle Beach, so any members that plan on camping with us are encouraged to contact Bone or Linda from our Northern Mass chapter to make arrangements to pitch a tent or park a trailer in their yard.

7th Annual Benefit Ride for Veterans

OBRC Owensboro Chapter is planning to attend the Rolling Thunder, Ch. 6, 7th Annual Benefit Ride for Veterans in Evansville on Sunday, June 28, 2015. We will meet at Hillbillies Convenient store and leave there at 9:00.

The ride starts at Veteran's Memorial Coliseum, which is downtown Evansville at 307 Market Street.

Sign in starts at 9:00 and runs until 10:30am.

First bike out is at 10:00am.

Last bike in is at 3:00pm.

The drawing will be at 4:00pm.

The cost for the ride is $15.00 per card or $25.00 for 2. This includes meal, grand prize ticket, door prize and best/worst hand.

The Grand Prize is a 40" Flat Screen TV.


June 18th through June 21st 2015

JuneBug Boogie Motorcycle Ralley at Cookeville, TN.

Some members of the Owensboro, KY Chapter and the South Bend, IN Chapter of OBRC are planning to attend the JuneBug Boogie Motorcycle Ralley at Cookeville, TN, Thursday, June 18 through Sunday, June 21, 2015. The cost is $40 per person. There is an Early bird fee is $10.00 per day. There are no support vehicle fees and no electric hook ups. If needed, you'll need to bring your own generator. Golf carts are $20.00 extra. Anyone interested in riding along or camping with us, contact an officer from the Owensboro, Kentucky or South Bend, Indiana Chapters.

Since the Ralley is in TN, DOT approved Helmets are required.

Rolling Disciples Ride to Benefit the American Cancer Society

The Ownesboro Ky and Rockport Indiana chapters of Older Bikers Riding Club is planning to attend Rolling Disciples Ride to Benefit the American Cancer Society on Saturday, June 6, 2015. This ride will start at the Princeton Courthouse Square Gazebo. Sign up will begin at 9:00 a.m. Donuts & coffee will be served at sign up. Cost is $15.00 per rider and $10.00 per passenger. Last bike out will be at 10:30 a.m., and last bike in at 3:00 p.m.

Grand prize is a GO PRO CAMERA. There will be door prizes, Silent Auction, Chinese Auction and a Bike Show with People's Choice Award. The event will be catered by O'Taste and Sea.

We will leave Hillbillies at 8:00 a.m. All members please wear a Club vest or a Club tee-shirt. Everyone is welcome to join us.

Daytona Beach Bike Week.

Mark you calendar for bike week in March. We are encouraging all National and Chapter officers to attend and vote for a new National VP.

Mid American Motorcycle Expo.

We will be leaving Chuckles, in front of Rural King, just off the OLD Hwy 60, (the New Hwy 144) at 10:00 am. If the weather is real cold or there is ice on the road, we may drive our cages.

Christmas Party. Give us some feedback on how many members would like to attend a Christmas Party at Ryans on Saturday around 2:00 pm.

Thanksgiving Dinner at Ponderosa in Tell City, Indiana. For those members that don't have a large gathering at home and don't want to cook, come join us for some of the best turkey in the area. We will be leaving HarLady's place around 12 or 12:30.

The Owensboro chapter of OBRC will be attending the AEP Honeycreek AppleFest, located off Hwy 231, just North of the Ohio River. This is a great little festival with lots of locally made crafts and great food. The club will meet in the parking lot of Chuckles , in front of Rural King, just off the OLD Hwy 60, (the New Hwy 144) We will be leaving Chuckles at 9:00 am.
